Supervision as one of the effective tools of teacher care

Abstract

The article describes supervision as a tool that proves to be effective in preventing teacher burnout. Data from Czech primary schools are presented: what is the expansion of the service, what is the motive for the introduction of supervision in schools and what are the most common obstacles.

The article describes the specifics of the introduced service in education also from the point of view of the supervisor or teacher who consumes the service.
