Abstract
The objective of the paper is to inform the reader about the development of the age structure of the Prague population based on historical census data (1869-2011). Furthermore, the paper deals with the spatial distribution of population, its density, and development.
Focus is put on the detailed mapping of spatial phenomena in the census and evaluation of the internal differentiation of socio-economic status at the local level.
