Material artifacts of the corporate culture as a source for study of rationalization and mechanization of banking business

Abstract
The paper focuses on the analysis of selected material artifacts of the corporate culture of Živnostenská banka in connection with the research of rationalization and mechanization in the banking segment. It opens the issue to new approaches and sources of interdisciplinary nature (architecture, design, diplomacy, history of technology).
Specifically, it focuses on the bank building, office equipment and written production of banks and studies their role and transformation in the process of rationalization and mechanization influences. It also deals with the issue of sources of inspiration and the degree of the bank's reflection on innovation impulses.
