Abstract
The article comprises of the analysis of Latin textbooks available for Czech students. Both from this analysis and from the questioning among Latin high school teachers, it is evident that there is a need for a new Latin textbook that would be modern, attractive, and interesting for the students and suitable for 2-year courses, that are the most common at the Czech high schools.
