Abstract
In this chapter, we will briefly introduce Hilbert's third problem and its solution presented by Hilbert's student Max Dehn. We will also recall further developments in this area.
Finally, we present a recently discovered solution to Hilbert's third problem, presented by the Polish mathematician Ludwik Antoni Birkenmajer in 1882.
