Abstract
The study examines the business activities of Živnostenská banka (Trade Bank) in Prague during the end of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. She is thinking about the position of her branch in Vienna, which, with its business importance, but also its ties to business institutions and official positions, grew in importance to the headquarters in Prague and later grew out of it.
