Against the background of developments in the world, the birth and methodological equipment of Czech historiography with an emphasis on the Prague School of Economic History is discussed.
It is a research center, a free group of economic historians centered around the Institute of Economic and Social History of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, born in the early 1990s.
