Abstract

The paper conceptualizes unfair competition on the market for technology of interwar Czechoslovakia, i.e. imitation strategies, as a research topic of economic history and business history. The aim is to defi ne the basic concepts and outline the Neo-Schumpeterian theory of technological regimes as an eff ective interpretative tool for introducing imitation strategies into the broader context of innovative activities in the business environment.

Special attention is paid to research questions and sources that an economic historian can apply in the study of this topic.
