When teachers and students create Musical fairy tales with a songbook for preschool and younger school-aged children

Abstract
The article introduces a new publication of musically integrative character intended for preschool and younger school-aged children and all those who attend to them of that age. The art-educational areas (musical, literary, artistic and dramatic) are connected with a complex of 11 author's musical fairy tales.
The reading experience is intensified by songs, professionally recorded accompaniment on CD, methodical commentary and a number of topics for creative activities. The publication is a result of more than two years of cooperation between teachers and students at the Department of Music Education of the Faculty of Education of Charles University.
