Abstract
Text adresses Zatloukalová's blog Kuchařka pro dceru (A Cookbook for daughters) which merits a special attention for its specifics in terms of language, discourse and communication design. The design of the blog is primarily verbal, highlighting texture and textuality as process and product, esp. through its linear structuration, by addressing orality in written texts, as well as antrophomorphism, while also accounting for the reader's understanding and his/her rational and emotional involvement through implementing dialogues, phatic means, quotations and references
