: The contribution aims to highlight key points in the development of scientifi c literacy, environmental sensitivity and psychological aspects of creative play of preschool children. On the basis of a comprehensive educational program focused on polytechnic education, an empirical probe of a qualitative nature was performed, which emphasizes the key and sensitive points of the implementation of the principles of polytechnic education in kindergarten curricula.
The results of the study show that the principles of polytechnic education bring signifi cant benefi ts for the development of knowledge, fi ne motor skills, and also the social relationships and selfpages concept of the preschool child. The second level of findings focuses on the role of the teacher and his/her managment of obstacles in the implementation of the program.
The text provides inspiration for a stronger integration of polytechnic education into preschool education.
