Abstract

The author describes the judgment in Sylvia Burwell, Secretary of Health and Human Services, et al. v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., et al.

The case was ruled by the United States Supreme Court and, for the first time, ruled on the purpose of a business corporation in relation to religious freedom, employee health care, including contraceptive methods, and the profit or duty of a business corporation to make a profit.
