Abstract

Th e article presents the issue of the usability of tactile relief maps for visually impaired people. It presents an online version of tactile relief maps for the visually impaired as one of the important tools for spatial orientation and independent movement.

It compares children and adults at work with haptic maps. Th e results of the research survey encourage refl ection on the possibilities of expanding awareness of this support within the tactile development of visually impaired children in education and its usability in their independent movement in adulthood.
