Abstract

The monography consists of three analytic essays that copy main parts of the treated treatise - Kokuze sanron, written by Yokoi Shonan, a neo-Confucian intellectual. The eaasys also reflect acute topics of the time - transformation of the economy (from natural to at least partly financial one), building armed forces and keeping the high standard of moral of the samurai elite
