Abstract
This chapter of the book on Havel's key words/concepts is devoted to one of the most important ones to be found in his work. Home is seen in many contexts throughout Havel's life, from reflection on ordinary experience to political experience, and last but not least it has a philosophical and existential dimension.
The author views the Czech concept of HOME in Havel's conception mainly from the perspective of cognitive ethnolinguistics - and (close to Havel) phenomenology (Heidegger, and especially Patočka). The essential correlation of the concept of HOME with the concept of ABSOLUTE HORIZON is shown.
