Abstract
In Martin Scorsese's unusual biopic, produced by Netflix, about the life of a mob-hitter Frank Sheeran, one can find, among other things, a parallel to Proust's Remembrance of Things Past. However, the film is a nostalgic revision of the director's well-tested narrative formulas, rather than their recycling.
