The theatrical script entitled Three Faces of Božena Němcová was created on the occasion of the writer's 200th birth anniversary and was intended for theatrical realization in the drama seminar for the students of Czech for foreigners. The script depicts three periods of the writer's life in the form of her three faces: the young Betty Panklová, the apprentice writer Barbora Němcová, and the mature woman and artist Božena Němcová.
The parallel to them is perhaps the most famous character of Němcová proses, Viktorka, in which the author found herself, her great courage in life. In five acts, the play captures some important events in the writer's life from meeting Josef Němec until her death.
