Abstract
Evaluation of albuminuria is still one of the basic functional examinations of the kidneys. Examination requires accurate urine collection over a period of time to assess the amount of albumin excreted.
Due to the frequent difficulties in determining the exact volume of urine produced in the observed time interval, it seems to be beneficial to evaluate the ratio of urinary albumin and creatinine concentrations.
