Phonetic matter and its didactic transformation in textbooks for Year 2-6

Abstract

Although the FEP for the first and second stage of primary school expresses basic requirements for both phonetic knowledge of the language and skills in the field of technique and culture of speech, the real representation of activities aimed at acquiring these skills is in the observed period of 2nd - 6th grade. low, even in textbooks equipped with a MEYS clause. The cyclical design of the phonetic curriculum is rather random, dominated by the components of "small linguistics", ie subject knowledge.

The monitored textbooks lead to the acquisition and fixation of communication competencies and to the realization of the stylistic validity of sound variants on a segmental and suprasegmental level only marginally.
