Abstract

We study the influence of scalar fields on a specific model of nonlinear electrodynamics (the square root Lagrangian) spacetime. We show that the singular horizon created by scalar field in spherically symmetric static scalar-vacuum spacetimes is still present when nonlinear electrodynamics is added.

For the obtained solution, we investigate the timelike geodesic motions of a test particle by studying the effective potential.
