Hussite Reminiscences in Antonín Dvořák's Music: 'Hussite Overture' op. 67

Abstract

In presented article, the origins of Dvořák's outstanding orchestral composition and its position in context of period and social situation are briefly examined; its early reception is taken in consideration as well.
