Unequal Partnership : Czechoslovak Documents on Relations with the People's Republic of China 1949-1989

Abstract

The collection of the documents observes the development of Czechoslovakia's relationship with the PRC from 1948 to 1989. It draws attention to the defining influence of communist ideology in its interpretation by the Soviet Union.

Supported by international resources, the accompanying study provides insight into the context of the development of the international Communist movement as well as of Soviet and Chinese foreign strategy.
