Early and comprehensive cardiovascular prevention in a general practitioner's office. Dyslipidemia and hypertension: The two most common risk factors and the possibility of their EARLY control

Abstract

Webinar of the Society of General Medicine, which took place on 18.8. 2020, was devoted to the benefits of early intervention of cardiovascular risk factors before the development of irreversible atherosclerotic changes and cardiovascular prevention in patients with type 2 diabetes. Lecturers focused on ways to achieve good patient cooperation.

We summarize the content of their communication and finally present a case report that demonstrates the benefit of using combined products to reduce the number of tablets used, and thus improve the patient's adherence to treatment.
