Presented lecture focuses on preliminary result of ongoing research conducted under auspices of Czech-Uzbekistani archaeological expedition. By means of remote sensing, study of historical topographical maps and intended intensive surface survey, main aim of the research is to make a significant contribution to study of settlement transformations and past land use of Northern Bactria.
In the presentation the research methodology as well as current achievement were introduced. Based on these preliminary data, tentative estimation of archaeological potentia of research areal was discussed.
