Abstract
Tetanus disease is rare in the Czech Republic due to good vaccination coverage. However, non-vaccinated or insufficiently vaccinated persons are still at risk of tetanus infection when injured.Therefore, post-exposure vaccinations and, if necessary, passive immunizations must be perfomed consistently in children.
