The research project Czech Russians and the Crossroads of Modern and Contemporary History: A Biographical Interview was created as part of the Specific Academic Research Projects Competition grant No. 260 608 / 2020. The project was launched on April 1, 2020.

Pavla Mücke, Ph.D. D immediately encountered two new challenges: 1.
Establishing communication with the Russian community (The Czech Russians project is the first oral-historical research involving interviews with a total of 50 narrators on Czech-Russian history), even though one of the project team members works as a gatekeeper. 2. During the first phase of the projects, two quarantines with prolongation, depending on the human factor and the fear of the disease, took place.The researchers had to solve a dilemma - off-line vs. on-line interviews. /cestirusove.fhs.cuni.cz/CR-1.html in two languages - Czech and Russian The Russian version is extended by a chapter on ethical and legal aspects of research implementation and contains Informed Consent in the Czech language. what is the purpose of the Russian version of the website, how the project was created, how the implementation took place in terms of different approaches to obtaining narrators, about ethical and legal issues.
