Abstract

The study is a basic introduction to one of the key Christian authors of the 8th and 9th centuries who lived in the Islamic Empire and wrote in Arabic - Theodora Abu Qurra (755-830). In the first part of the paper, the study introduces the reader to Theodor's biography.

In the second part with his work. Here he presents a complete list of works written in Greek and Arabic.

Finally, the study seeks to show why Theodor Abu Qurra is considered the father of Arabic Christian literature.
