Hemadsorption therapy in critically ill patients - double blind bet?

Abstract

Recently, the therapeutic approach using the extracorporeal hemadsorption technologies attracted much attention. Effort to affect the patophysiological processess associated with critical illness represents an attractive concept, that penetrates into clinical practice.

Here we present the critical opinion on current status of hemadsorption therapy in critical ill patients in the context of published evidence.
