Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to state the reasons which led to the approval of the Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 of the European Parliament and of the Council on promoting fairness and transparency for business users of online intermediation services, to delimit the role of the internet search engines, the online platforms, which entities are covered by this Regulation, its objective, and as well the difficulties which arise from the applicability of the Regulation, in particular, related to the online platform Uber or Airbnb with respect to existing case law of the European Court of Justice.
