Reflection on the concept of criminal proceedings - looking back and looking ahead

Abstract

This paper considers the current and at the same time the future concept of criminal proceedings. In the Czech Republic, the Criminal Procedure Code of 1961 has been in force for almost sixty years, and has been changed several times (often substantially) during its effectiveness.
