Graffiti as a part of the urban space: The example of the Bubeneč district of Prague

Abstract

Graffiti is a frequently discussed social topic and an important theme of geographical research in the shared urban space. The aim of this article is to present this subcultural phenomenon from the view of spatial theories explaining the causes of graffiti concentration.

The article also offers suggestions for teaching, which can engage students in studying (political) geography.
