Abstrakt
The monograph is devoted to the influence of linguistic contacts on the linguistic picture of the world. It synthesizes the theoretical provisions of contact linguistics, semantics, as well as works on the problem of the linguistic picture of the world.
The study was carried out within the framework of the idioethnic approach on the example of the German-Czech language contact on the material of German semantic and lexical cripples in the Czech language. An analysis of cripples in a synchronic and diachronic aspect showed that the Czech linguistic picture of the world, as a result of the contact of the German and Czech languages, borrowed some elements of the German linguistic picture of the world.
