Abstract

I have committed a crime, or I can only expect a civil lawsuit. There is a material corrective of formally conceived criminal law and there is no connection at all between the criminal and the civil code.

How can I protect myself when I feel that a criminal report has been filed against me and what to avoid when I am a "hot" head and would rather send everyone to the police. And what if I'm injured in criminal proceedings and I don't know whether to assert my claim in adhesive or civil proceedings.

This is addressed in the presented article "The principle of subsidiarity of criminal repression from the point of view of legal civilization", both from the point of view of legal theory and very practically. It answers the above questions and also deals with the procedural view of the matter.
