Abstract
This publication aims to provide field ophthalmologists, postgraduate physicians and other colleagues with maximum current information on this disease. Although the causes and mechanism of keratoconus have not yet been fully elucidated, modern diagnostic methods as well as treatments have significantly changed the approach of ophthalmologists to patients with corneal ectasia in recent years.
For greater clarity, the book is accompanied by a number of pictures and photographs, so that it can be a useful tool for all ophthalmologists interested in corneal problems.
