The contribution is based on current research of Czech digitized map collections whose diversity is represented by archives, libraries, museums and university collections. First, it will present the current state of processing map collections.
It will further describe what standards, procedures and tools are used in Czechia for the description of cartographic documents and how they are interdisciplinary compatible. The author will also present the types of access to digitized map collections.
Finally, the audience will be introduced to the services and the use of data of digitized map collections.
