The paper addresses the problem of analysis of eye movements using sinusoidal head rotation test. The reflex induced by the rotational test is known as vestibuloocular reflex (VOR) causing nystagmus, which consists of slow and, fast phase.

The aim of the algorithm is to remove automatically the effect of the fast phase and from the slow component compute slow phase velocity (SPV). SPV is the most important, feature of the eve movements enabling determination of some pathological states of vestibular organ.

A complex tool was developed for clinical purposes to help to analyse data more easily without special knowledge. The application has been evaluated on the testing set of both healthy patients and patients suffering from some vestibular malfunction.
