Abstract
The article relates to the sketch by F.A. Maulbertsch.
Maulbertsch was commissioned to paint the main altarpiece for the parish church in Skalica in the 1870s. To do this, prepared a drawing and a sketch.
This sketch in particular was newly found in private ownership. A riccordo that was lost earlier in Berlin also relates to this altar sheet.
