Josef Cibulka: Typology and Strategies of the Priestly Service in the Modern History of the Czech Lands

Abstract

In his contribution author puts ecclesiastical career of priest and historian of Art Josef Cibulka in the historical and cultural contexts of his time. Study brings also new historical sources from the Vatican archives which shed a new light on Cibulka's reception in czech church circles.
