Love and critique of the pornographic age in the work of Alain Badiou

Abstract

Alain Badiou put forward a new concept of love as a true procedure between two people. This concept opposes two prevailing forms of love, which is love as a deal and love as a sexual desire.

The author shows that Badiou in his recently appeared book The Pornographic Age politically broadens the meaning of love.
