Abstract

The content, main subject and goal of this review study is a research and search of currently available diagnostic testing tools for early detection of significant cognitive deficits in children at risk of early or advanced symptoms of dyslexia in the Czech Republic and in the world. A detailed analysis of the available test tools will allow a better overview of the comparison and possible absence of test batteries and their reviews, standardization, or restrictions on use.

The presented results point to the fact that in times of crisis, which is currently caused by the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus, it is necessary to take into account the possibilities and pitfalls of diagnostics, prevention, intervention and therapy so as not to limit work with clients in risk groups. Therefore, for the early diagnosis of language performance deficits, care must be taken to carefully select the diagnostic battery for administration.
