Abstract

Teaching planning is one of the key professional competencies of a teacher. The level of its mastery has a direct impact on the teaching quality as well as the pupils' educational results.

A key role in the teaching planning has educational objectives that focus the entire teaching process. In accordance with the varying degrees of generality and nature of the objectives, during the planning the teacher thinks at several basic levels - planning from the framework curriculum to the school curriculum, planning at the level of thematic units and planning of specific lessons or blocks.

At the same time, the teacher must keep in mind the complex development of the pupil's personality in terms of cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains with regard to the development of key competencies. Last but not least, pupils, who are key players in the teaching process, and their parents have a role to play in the teaching planning process.
