Content and Language Integrated Learning as a form of interconnection of two educational domains

Abstract

In the chapter, the CLIL method (Content and Language Integrated Learning) - teaching a non-language subject though the medium of a language that is not mother tongue of the majority of pupils in the class - is introduced. The representative of the non-language subject is mathematics, the language of instruction is English.

The CLIL method offers interconnection of two educational domains and pupils' development in both of them.
