The study deals with the moods in Hussite Bohemia in the early 1430s, after ten years of war, in which the Hussites defeated five crusades but in vain demanded a public debate on the Hussite program. These moods were expressed by one of the speakers of the Hussites, the master of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prague, Laurentius of Březová, in a poem in which he reacted to the victory of the Czechs over the Crusaders in the battle of Domažlice on August 14, 1431.
