2020 ESC Guidelines for the management of adult congenital heart disease. Summary of the document prepared by the Czech Society of Cardiology

Abstract

The authors of this review tried to create a document that would pay attention to the individual diagnostic units in a balanced way, with reasonably more attention being paid to more frequent defects and to those that will be addressed by field cardiologists. Slightly less space is given to rare defects, which will always be subject to the care of a complex cardio center (for extremely difficult dilemmas, the specialist will still seek support in the original European Society of Cardiology [ESC]).
