Abstract
The introductory study to the edition of the anthology of journalism by Adolf Kajpra (1902-1959) - the monograph The present time is the actual time of God - presents the life of this Czech Jesuit, priest, preacher and journalist, who was imprisoned by the Nazis and the Communists and died in prison in the reputation of martyrdom; highlights the main accents of his conception of the mission of the Catholic periodical press and the so-called press apostolate; attaches an editorial note. The extension of the introductory study is factual notes attached to the individual texts.
