Nobilty at the Crossroads. The Liechtenstein, Schwarzenberg, and Colloredo-Mannsfeld in the first half of the 20th century

Abstract

The authors deal the process of the aristocracy's adaptation to the new status quo after 1918. They look at the relationship these families had to interwar Czechoslovakia, Nazi-German occupants and to the so calle Third Republic after the liberation of Czechoslovakia in 1945.
