Abstract
Financial market participants get no rest. The production of legislation, particularly on the EU level, is still in high tempo.
In last years, financial institutions must have dealt with e.g. new rules for investments services, payment services or new framework of personal data protection. It is increasingly complained about the constant necessity to update and align internal guidelines so that no time and money is left for core business activities, such as providing and enhancing the services and customer care.
In this landscpae, new legislation package comes in, and it aims to channel financial markets towards so call sustainable financing. This new legislation appears to be short and comprehensible, however, it has far-reaching ambitions and it should shape the financial sector in years to come.
