Abstract
The field of neurology has experienced great development in recent years, which is reflected in the need for a modern textbook. The neurology of Evžen Růžička and the team of authors proved to be the very source that students of neurology lacked.
This was evidenced by the quickly disassembled edition of the first edition and the Czech Neurological Society Award for the best textbook published in 2019. Although the textbook was primarily intended for medical students, it was welcomed by physicians in specialization. to release the first.
In addition to the updated chapters "General" and "Special Neurology", the section "Neurological examination and auxiliary examinations" was expanded by three chapters. Another essential addition concerns the therapeutic section of the textbook.

The second, expanded edition of Neurology is a modern textbook that will be of benefit not only to medical students, but also to beginning physicians of various disciplines, especially neurology and general medicine.
