Managing T2-high severe asthma in HIV-infected patients

Abstract

The article deals with biological therapy for severe asthma in HIV-infected patient. Based on previously published national guidelines, which assesses the presence of allergy and eosinophilia together with important comorbidities in each asthmatic patients, authors offer decision-making arguments for choice of different types of targeted therapy.

This is the first reported case of severe asthma, atopic dermatitis and HIV, treated with anti-IL4/13 monoclonal antibody (dupilumab).
