Abstract
The presented article deals with the Conceptual Test in Wave Optics. It describes main steps of its development and structure and properties of the final version.
Two sets of pilotage testing have been done so far. In the first part of the research 105 high school students were tested with a test reliability described by Cronbach 's alpha on the level 0.2.
Due to this low value another testing was carried out, this time with university students. It has showed reliability on the level 0.72.
This article deals with results from the analysis of these two data sets and shows examples of possible wave optics misconceptions detected by this testing. The test is attached.
